Skype, the Ebay owned internet phone service, have launched three new call plans to encourage PC to landline calls.
The three packages, Unlimited Country (One country, unlimited landline calls) @ €2.95 per month, Unlimited Europe (unlimited landline calls to 20 countries) @ €3.95 per month and Unlimited World (unlimited landline calls to 34 countries and some limited mobile) @ €8.95 per month.
Our course, unlimited is never unlimited, a fair use policy states unlimited is equal to 10,000 minutes.
This offer would be useful for anyone using a no-phone line (DSL) broadband package, or to people with contacts in other country’s who are called often.

Came across an interesting problem this week. A PC which had been updated to Vista Service Pack One was disabled from accessing the internet.
The cause was a failure with ZoneAlarms. The user hadn’t updated the ZoneAlarms software with the release for Vista SP1 before installing the Vista update.
This caused the Internet to be shutdown. The only resolution was to uninstall ZoneAlarms, which opened up the internet access then reinstall the current Vista SP1 version at ZoneLabs website to enable the internet with ZoneAlarms protection.
